| Kleopatra A. Toliver, “Kleo” -
Kelo was a runaway from an orphanage back when Rockport still had safe places like that for children. She took off when she was eleven and quickly discovered the bad taste that the perverts of the city can put in your mouth. Luckily this realization was short lived thanks to the intervention of Shu Li Mei the second in command under Nagano Ikotani leader of Chinatown.
Shu Li took her in off the streets that night thirteen years ago, and she has been a rising force in the Chinatown elite ever since. Taking full advantage of her mentor’s standing, she was able to learn all manner of martial arts to not only ensure that no man would touch her again, but to also help fuel her real passion- dance.
Trouble was the only places to dance in a place like Rockport was at fine “gentleman’s clubs”, not that she was dissuaded by that much. It was useful to work in such a place for the gang after all and she could still set her own limits. Marks could be simply invited for a good show than easily conned into the back for what they thought was a quick stab at her, but she swiftly showed them the real point of the meeting.
She didn’t mind helping the organization of course, her family, since she owed them for more than she could repay. But this six foot tall brunette with luscious legs and doe eyes couldn’t help but long for more than simply swinging on a pole and taking rivals out. A way out of Rockport and onto a real stage where people would come to see her moves, not what’s underneath, was what she really wanted. Just one shot at the big time to prove she could do it and finally strike out on her own.
While in Chinatown and moving among the elite, she keeps up with the strict traditional clothing- hair pulled back tight and straight, practically no makeup, and a dress from neck to ankle that is far from form fitting along with the simplest of shoes. Her street clothes however are anything but traditional and run more toward her profession. She looks particularly lethal if she is going out to do some serious damage and takes her signature side handled batons made from pure silver with the tasteful saying, all who oppose me shall perish, etched in Chinese. | |
